Terms of Use

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These terms govern access to wincea.com and to the games published there by Wincea (Vincent Ponsonnet). By using the site or playing one of the games, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

1 Free access

The games run in your browser, free of charge: no download, no advertising, no in-app purchase. You will never be asked to pay in order to play. Sapphires and upgrades are in-game currency; they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or refunded.

2 Account and nickname

You can play without an account. Creating one — through Google Sign-In, which needs no password — only serves to carry your progress and your leaderboard rank across devices.

A temporary nickname is assigned to you when you first submit a score ("guest_12"). You may then choose your own: 3 to 24 characters, displayed publicly on the leaderboard. You alone are responsible for what you put there. Nicknames that are insulting, hateful, discriminatory or obscene are not allowed, nor are those impersonating another person or Wincea, nor those using the reserved "guest_" prefix. An automatic filter rejects some of them; its silence is not an authorisation.

3 Fair play

You agree not to cheat, not to knowingly exploit a flaw in a game, not to automate your play or forge your scores, and not to attempt to disrupt the service or reach data that is not yours. If you find a vulnerability, please write to contact@wincea.com rather than exploit it.

4 Moderation

Where these terms are breached, we may remove or rename a nickname, delete a score, and suspend or delete an account. Such measures are proportionate to the breach. You may contest them at contact@wincea.com; we will reply, and restore your access if the measure was unfounded.

5 Intellectual property

The games, the site, their artwork, code, and music are the property of Wincea. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play them privately. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or resell them. Third-party components keep their own licences: the Godot engine (MIT licence) and the Inter and Outfit typefaces (SIL Open Font License 1.1).

6 Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability or freedom from error. We may change it, interrupt access for maintenance, reset a leaderboard when a season ends, or stop publishing it altogether. We cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

7 Personal data

How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy. You may ask at any time for your account, your nickname, and your scores to be deleted, at contact@wincea.com.

8 Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is authoritative. Continuing to use the service after a change amounts to accepting the new version.

9 Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Should a dispute arise, please write to contact@wincea.com so that we can look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules you benefit from as a consumer residing in another Member State of the European Union.
